Best Roast!

Cover bottom of crockpot with worcheshire sauce. Stab roast and put stab side down. stab top of roast and pour some worcheshire sauce over that. Sprinkle with mushroom onion soup mix and pour a little water over that. Crock for 'roast time' (6 hours on low?).

So good!

EASY RIBS

First, coat your crock pot with a nonstick spray.
Then dump in country style ribs
Add a few cloves of garlic (I don't even bother cutting them- just peel)
You can also add onions if you want - Sometimes I forget

Cook on low for 10 hours or so. Then drain juices. Add your favorite bbq sauce and cook for 30 minutes to an hour on low. Do NOT cook the ribs in sauce all day- it does something very strange to the bbq sauce. I never let it cook in sauce longer than an hour or hour and a half at max.

So easy and the ribs are great. My DH loves it!

Another chicken breast recipe.

Heavenly Crockpot Chicken

Fatty version:

4-6 chicken breasts
1 package zesty italian dressing
1 cube butter

cook in crockpot for 3 hours on high.

In a sauce pan, melt 1 8oz pkg cream cheese and 1 can cream of mush soup, until smooth

add sauce to crockpot and cook an additional 30 minutes
serve over rice

lower fat version:
eliminate the butter
use lowfat cream cheese and cream of mush soup (still tastes extremely yummy)

Cheater cabbage rolls

1 pound of ground beef
1 cup of long grain rice
1 cup of water
1 can of diced tomatoes
salt & pepper

Mix all of the above ingredients together in the crock pot.

1/2 of a small or medium cabbage diced into chunks (not too small or it gets soggy)

Layer the diced cabbage on top of the meat & tomato mixture.

Leave on low for 4 hours, stir in cabbage. Let cook for another 3 hours.

Amazingly simple and so good.

DH prefers to leave the rice out and cook it separately. I like it all together....

Here's about as easy as you can get! I've been making it often because it's the only way I can get my 21 month old to eat green beans!

Ham, green beans and potatoes in the crock

Get maybe a 2 pound ham, add 2 or 3 cans of green beans, and peel and dice several large potatoes. Dump it all in the crock, fill it to cover with water and cook all day on low.

Super easy!

Adding one and bumping for a friend. Hope this recipe isn't a repeat!

Cranberry Pork Roast

1 boneless rolled pork loin roast (2-3lbs)
1/2 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of pepper
1 can of whole cranberry sauce
1/4 cup of honey
1 tsp of grated orange peel (I use jarred)
1/8 tsp of ground cloves
1/8 tsp of ground nutmeg

Cut roast in half and place in crockpot. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over roast. Cook on low for 4-5 hours our until meat thermometer reaches 160* Let stand for 10 minutes before slicing.

I have a huge crockpot and since I feed 6 my goal is lots of leftovers. I do two full roasts at once and we eat one sliced. The second I shred and throw in a couple of days later with a can of diet coke and ketchup for BBQ.
